Our Story

Middle Ground Growers (MGG) was born in 2020. We grow organically on a 2-acre orchard and market garden in Bath.

Like all vegetables, MGG started with an idea: producing ecologically grown food for local communities.

We started by supplying a whole food shop in Bath and selling directly on the farm. Rapidly we also decided to launch a veg box scheme and began delivering to 20-25 families every week.

In 2021, we are providing veg boxes for over 60 families and reach out to local businesses and even schools!

The Co-Growers

Middle Ground Growers is now a Community Interest Company (CiC).

We operate with a Head Grower (Hamish Evans), an Apprentice Head Grower (Xavier Hamon) and 4  Trainees in 2021 (Livi, Naomi, Marcus and Sammy - from left to right) who are learning first hand the work of ecological market gardening. To learn more about the Traineeship and Apprenticeship please email us.

We also need volunteers when we have big jobs on the plot. So get in touch if you want to get active and be outdoors.
